I’m the Assistant Airport Manager at Grand Central Airport. My career started in 1991 (26 years ago) when I joined the City of Tshwane (then Pretoria) Fire Department. This is where my passion for fire safety, saving lives and property was born. I spent many years building my knowledge and experience up so that I can aspire young people and Fire Fighters. In 1998 I was promoted to the Emergency Fire Training Department as a Programmed Officer for Specialized Training. Some of the courses that I presented were Advance Life Support, High Angel, Swift Water, Confined Space Rescue, Hazardous Material, Aircraft Construction, and Incident Management, just to name a few.  I spent 5 years as Company Commander in the Fire Department of Wonderboom Airport to building my knowledge and experience in Aviation before being recruited as Fire Chief and Fuel Bay Manager of Grand Central Airport in July 2015. In January 2016 I was promoted to Assistant Airport Manager. I am a dedicated family man and equally dedicated to developing the youth of today. “I believe that children are the future of our country and that we should do anything we can to help develop them. All dreams start with an experience and this is the ultimate experience. I would love for children to share the same passion for Aviation that I have”
